Knitting

Still looking for a job. I haven't been doing much knitting or crocheting, but I have been reading a lot of knitting books. I just finished reading Knitting In Plain English by Maggie Righetti and the first Mason-Dixon Knitting book by Kay Gardiner and Ann Shayne. After reading Mason-Dixon Knitting, I went online and found Kay and Ann's blog Mason-Dixon Knitting. I know that I like to read blogs about other peoples knitting, so I knew I would love it.

OFFICIAL Breaking Dawn Trailer On MTV Movie Awards (HD) 05.06.2011

Wow

I didn't realize that it had been a little over 2 years since my last post. In those 2 years I went to school and recently graduated with a degree in photography. I never quit knitting, crocheting or learning new things about knitting and crocheting. I'm going to try to blog a little more regularly, but we'll see what happens.

Book of Love - Peter Gabriel

I can barely listen to this song without crying. I love it.

Lots of Knitting and Crocheting!!!!

I've been busy...knitting and crocheting that is, not so busy with much else...yet. I've been working on the Bobble Star Afghan from the March/April issue of Crochet Today!

I've also been working on the Fat Bottom Bag from The Happy Hooker(photos soon) and the Queen of Hearts bikini from Stitch 'n Bitch(photos soon).
Even with all that to do I'm still looking for more to do!!
I've also knit a couple berets for myself.

As you can see, I really like purple.

In General

Last weekend I finally bought some buttons for my February Lady Sweater. I had been using some pins I got from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame during the summer, moving from Oregon to New York. I took a seven day car trip to get here, it would have been six days, but we just had to stop in Cleveland.

I've been thinking about going to school in the fall to become a photographer. The local community college is having a spring open house this Friday, so my mom and I are going to go check it out. My biggest concern is whether or not I'll be considered an in-state resident or not by then. I will have lived in New York for a year on august first, so I hope I'll be considered an in-state resident.

I'm currently in a knitting/crocheting slump. I have no idea what I'd like to make that I actually have the yarn for. I have many things I'd like to make that I don't have the yarn money for, but I can be patient. So, I'm latch hooking right now. I found a latch hook kit that I forgot that I had, then I have some cross stitch kits to do after that, so I'm not at a complete loss for something to do.
